Articles of Faith

The Shamar Prophets School of Ministry (SPSM) builds upon Christ the only foundation.

The Bible is shared as the inerrant Word of God and our vocation and ministry emerges out of Well Pavilion Ministries and New Destiny Empowerment Temple.

With our vision and perspectives strongly rooted in the Holy Bible which we believe to be the written Word of God, we affirm the oneness of God who made Himself known as the Father in Creation, the Son in Redemption and the Holy Spirit.

We Believe In:

God

We believe that there is One God and He reveals Himself in three Persons. the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. Proverbs 30:4; Matthew 3:16,17; John

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is both fully God and fully Man. He is known throughout the Scripture as the Son of God, and the Son of Man. He is both Divine and Human.

Bible

We believe the Holy Bible, in its original, inspired, written form, including both the Old and New Covenants, is the only God-breathed and inspired literary work. The Holy Bible is the only source whereby all mankind can discover the will of God for their lives and be reconciled to Him through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blood Atonement

We believe in the saving (Greek-sozo/sode-zo à forgiving, healing, and delivering) power of the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We believe in His imputed righteousness and wholeness to everyone who will believe in, adhere to, rely on, and places their complete trust in Him.

Death, Burial, Resurrection, Ascension, And Return

We believe in the bodily death, burial, resurrection, ascension to heaven, and return to earth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Gift of Eternal Life

We believe the only way for mankind to be reconciled to God is through a personal faith in, and relationship with His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. This can only be achieved by faith, but is proven out by the fruit of good works. The redeemed of the Lord will spend eternity with Him in heaven, and the accursed [those who reject God’s free gift of life] will spend eternity separated from Him in hell.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The inward filling of the Holy Spirit that gives you the anointed capability to speak in tongues as the Spirit gives you utterance.

Mankind

We believe that every human is born into sin, and is, therefore, considered to be a sinner by God and separated from Him. We also believe that because of the sin nature in every person they are incapable of living life free from sin. Therefore, every person is in bondage to sin. Man without God is lost and undone, without God, and / or hope in this world, and in desperate need for a Savior.

Equipping Office Gifts

We believe in the Five-Fold Ministry Equipping Office Gifts of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers that God Himself gave them to the church for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the building up of the body of Christ.

The ministry institution affirms the authority of the Scriptures, believes in the integration of faith, learning and ministry, and endorses and practices onsite education as a significant contributor to the educational needs of the religious and global community.

The Shamar Prophets School of Ministry (SPSM) Institute believes in the practicality of scholarly endeavor, the immediate application of learning experiences for the enrichment of personal and professional life, and the earnest endeavor of lifelong learners to gain understanding and knowledge to witness more effectively the words of Jesus Christ to the world.
